As the weather begins to get warmer and spring break comes to an end, students start to fantasize about their summer vacations. There are many things to look forward to in this three month vacation, ranging from sitting on the beach soaking up the sun to having a summer job. Here are some things that you might find yourself doing during the summer.
Do you own a vacation house? A lot of students do some in Maine, New Hampshire, Florida, Cape Cod, and many other locations in the United States. During break many students will spend some if not all of their vacation in their vacation house. This could be a fun way to spend vacation but if you’re planning on spending a lot of time with your friends this could be difficult depending on where your house is located.
The beach is also a place that many students will be spending their vacation. Whether you just want to cool off in the ocean or get a golden tan the beach is for everyone. Also some are free! So it’s the easiest and cheapest way to spend your vacation. Beaches that are nearby are Horse Neck beach, Grinnel’s beach, and Bristol Town beach. These are only three of the many nearby beaches.
Concerts and amusement parks are another way to spend your vacation. There are multiple concerts that occur during the summer, maybe your favorite band or solo artist has one coming up. Also amusement parks such as Canobie Lake and Six Flags are another fun way to spend your vacation, although they could be a bit pricey.
While some kids will be relaxing and taking their summer easy, others will be working. A lot of kids get summer jobs to earn some extra money but it could take up a lot of your summer depending on what you job is. This is a good way to do something instead of sitting around all summer and doing nothing. Also some extra money never hurt anyone.
These are only some of the many things you can spend your vacation doing, but remember to make the best of it before September comes back around and it’s time to go back to school.
