SBRHS’ Model UN team gathers in the DLC for their practice

On Monday, November 27th, our Somerset Berkley Model UN team came together to have their first practice event of the year. Students gathered in the DLC to simulate a United Nations conference about a recent zombie apocalypse that threatened the conference’s members, trapped on Somerset Berkley’s campus. Students portrayed a variety of interesting characters including a state representative, a social media influencer, and even a local Domino’s worker. The event was chaired by the club’s president, Rylee Resendes, and vice president, Abigail Kettle. The group ended up coming up with a plan to evacuate the school and finished the practice with a unanimously agreed upon resolution. Three students –Savannah Blaser, Allison Kettle, and Hunter Pearson— were awarded for their participation in the group’s conference and received MUN is FUN prizes.
