Two Somerset Berkley Athletes Recruited by Colleges

Karissa Albin

Senior Karissa Albin has enrolled at Bentley University where she will play Division II field hockey for the Falcons. Karissa has played the sport for 9 years now, having played it in middle school, for four years on varsity at Somerset Berkley, and with the Allegiance Field Hockey club. At Bentley University, she will major in finance with the hope of pursuing a career as an investments funds manager.

Mia Gentile

Senior Mia Gentile has enrolled at Endicott College where she will play women’s basketball for the Gulls. Mia has played basketball for ten years now, having started playing the sport in the second grade. At Endicott College, Mia plans to major in exercise science, with the goal of graduating from the Pre-Professional Athletic Training program. She hopes to go on to become an athletic trainer for a Division I college or professional sports team.

Ryan Rose, Editor and Social Media Manager
Ryan is currently in his senior year at Somerset Berkley Regional High School and this is his third year as a member of The Breeze, where he will serve as this year's editor and social media manager. He is also a member of Model UN here at Somerset Berkley. Outside of school, he can often be found either reading a book or practicing the ukulele and piano.  Ryan is also heavily interested in politics and volunteered for the Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign.
