Seven Question Slam: Mr. Poulin

Q. I’ve heard that you used to be a weightlifter, is this true? 

A. True, I was a weight lifter and a powerlifter in college.

 

Q. What would your superpower be? 

A. I think it would probably be being able to prosper spiritually, emotionally, and physically because I believe that people are created in the image of god.

 

Q. What did you do before you were a substitute teacher? 

A. I’m still associate pastor at my church and I was a teacher and a principal at a Christian school.   

 

Q. What is your dream job? 

A. I’m happy with what I’m doing now, I enjoy subbing here. I think I have a good relationship with the students and faculty, I enjoy what I do here. I guess I don’t have a dream job. 

 

Q. What is your favorite thing about this school? 

A. First thing: the kids, they’re good kids and they are respectful and some kids have some character that make things interesting. But the staff and admin are amazing; I enjoy getting to make phone calls and talk with our admin. 

 

Q. What does your perfect day look like? 

A. At my age I wake up and every day is unique and has its challenges, I just don’t think anything happens by accident, I don’t know, I’m just content with that.

 

Q. What did you do this summer? 

A. Well one of the things my wife and I did was go on a diet, which was successful. But we also went to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park we enjoyed it. My wife likes the beach so we try to go and I try to exercise and stay in shape.
