Senior Spotlight: Sadee Arruda

The SBRHS Girls Soccer Team went to ORR High school Monday night in hopes of ending their 3 game losing streak. The girls went into the game with intensity and managed to keep the ball in ORR’s defensive end throughout the majority of the game. With a few minutes left in halftime, Lauren Roosa sent a corner kick across the box and Sadee Arruda jumped off her feet and headed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1-0. ORR used their speed and agility to score a goal. Throughout the second half, the Raiders did a good job communicating and connecting passes, despite the high intensity and physical game. The Raiders attempted to send through ball after through ball, but the ORR defense stopped each attempt. With a skilled goalie, it was hard for the Raiders to score, until Lauren Roosa sent a ball to Noa Beaudry where she used her speed to send the ball down the field and shot the ball into the back of the net, winning the game for the SBRHS girls, making the final score 2-1 at the end of the game.
