On Thursday, April 30th, Somerset-Berkley’s finest musicians gathered together to perform a series of melodic songs. Groups such as the concert band, the concert choir, the orchestra, string ensemble, and the symphonic wind ensemble performed that night.

The concert band played the songs “The Legend of Queen Ann’s Revenge” and “Sun Cycles”, both conducted by Mr. Marshall. They also performed “The Planets”, conducted by Mr. Russell. Concert Choir sang the songs “Live a Humble”, “Go the Distance”, and the classic “Don’t Stop Believin'”. The orchestra performed the songs “España Can” and “Take Five”. String Ensemble played “The Ghosts of Brandenburg”. Lastly, symphonic wind ensemble performed “Earth Dance” and “Transcendent Journey”, both conducted by Mr. Marshall along with “Loch Lomond” which was conducted by Mr. Russell.

Overall, all of the different music groups did a fantastic job and allowed the audience enjoy a magical night filled with musical instruments and singing.
