Congratulations to Calvin Perrotty for getting first place as a senior for the 2024 Will McDonough writing contest. The contest was a sports writing contest and each of the prompts had to do with Boston sports or sports in general and Calvin chose a prompt in which he had to write a narrative essay about watching a great Boston sports moment. He wrote an essay about what significance Super Bowl 53 held for him personally and the significance it held as a point in Patriots and Boston sports history. After winning 1st place and having this great accomplishment Calvin won tickets to the Celtics game and enjoyed his time there. We also had many honorable mentions from SBRHS, Congratulations to Ashley Lin, Nicolas Scanlon, Austin Thurber, Luke Guavin, Carys Carey, and Naomi Berman. You all are so talented and should be proud of yourselves, great work RAIDERS!
