SB Field Hockey Takes Down Old Rochester

On September 19th, our field hockey team won 3-2 against Old Rochester Regional High School. Karissa Albin let us know that “Ella Vaught opened the game up with the first goal. Following her goal were goals from Emily Carr (assisted by Karissa Albin) and Addie Finlaw (off of a penalty stroke).”

 

SB Cross Country Races Seekonk and Bridgewater-R

Also on September 19th, our cross country team raced against Seekonk High School and Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School.

Somerset boys lost to Seekonk, but beat Bridgewater-Raynham. “Top finishers for Somerset are Matthew Barbosa, Logan Cabral, and Logan Pacheco” reports Logan Pacheco.

In a tough race, Somerset girls lost to both Seekonk and Bridgewater Raynham. Logan Pacheco tells us that “Top SB finishers were Payton Morrosco, Grace Kayata, and Andriana Logaki.”

 

Boys’ Soccer Ties with Old Rochester

On September 21st, boys’ soccer tied 2-2 against Old Rochester Regional High School. “Ben Miller saved a shot by overhead kicking it off of the line for what would have been a goal.” Camden Rose reports.

 

SB Football Takes Down Durfee

Finnian Bjork  informed The Breeze that “the raiders beat the Hilltoppers 19-0 on friday night. Ethan Santos had a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Sam Grew also had a rushing touchdown. Defense led by Brendan Biz McDonald shut out Durfee.”
