TV Show Review: Young Sheldon

Everybody knows the show Big Bang Theory and the infamous character Sheldon Cooper. With his dry wit and childlike tendencies, he stands out from the rest of the characters. He is by far the most intelligent character on Big Bang Theory.  Young Sheldon is a spin-off series that will appear on the channel CBS.  This show will give the audience a deeper look into his character and how it shaped him into the man he became.

Young Sheldon takes place in 1989. Sheldon is nine years old and has skipped four grades. He is starting high school with his older brother George. His father is the football coach. George is not very intelligent but plays on the football team.  Unlike Sheldon, his twin sister Missy is of average intelligence.

Sheldon struggles to fit in with his family. He gets on the nerves of his teachers and is bullied by his classmates. However, Sheldon’s mother defends him and accepts his eccentricities.

Young Sheldon was really funny and surprisingly better than I thought. Big Bang Theory fans will really love this show. I strongly recommend this show.
