Satire

Satire is defined as “the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize society, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.”

Anything under this category of writing simply a spin on real events and is in no way meant to be taken seriously. In no way is any satire writing meant to be overly critical of any real life people or institutions, it is simply a humorous exaggeration on real world events.
